Trillium ~ #10 Brazilian Embroidery and Stump work. I like the way Stump work and Brazilian Embroidery compliment each other. Here Stump work is stitched on separate fabric from the design. There are 2 stitches used for the petals: Buttonhole and satin. The shape ( petal leaf etc. ) is formed with a piece of wire; after stitching cut around the edge of the wire and attached to your design piece. The wire frame allows you to shape and contour your petal giving dimensional life to your needle art. The greenery is stem stitch and satin. Trillium design package includes the printed fabric design additional fabric for the detached petals wire and instructions for the Stump work Trillim.
