Happy Thanksgiving to you and all those you hold dear
Good morning ~ Won’t keep you long this morning, just wanted to let you know there has been colors of Frost & Ciré added. They are not new to EdMar, I just have not stocked them before. Added: Frost #158 & 170; Ciré #304. If there is a color that I don’t stock in Frost, Ciré, Nova or Bouclé ), just ask, I will be happy to get it for you.
There are a couple items that I may not have any longer when what is in stock is gone. My vendor no longer carries them ~ I am looking for other sources, sometimes vendors have a very large minimum order beyond my reach to meet or do not want to sell to someone without a ‘brick & mortar store front’. More & more are beginning to accept online only business, some still do not. Two items in questions are the
No-Slip Morgan Hoops and the Centering Ruler, both of which are favorites of mine. While I am here I will just mention that my chicks are all doing great, some of you ask because you know how my I love those little girls and look forward to spending time with them everyday. Several of our friends look forward to getting their delicious eggs every Saturday. Also, for the last few months I have enjoyed getting back into sewing, since my son put up shelves in my sewing room so I could get organized and make room to even get to my sewing machine again. I don’t have a fancy do everything machine. Mine is a 54 year old Singer 501a. I love working with fabric (after all it is threads)
and beautiful colors – I am making pot holders (sounds silly, doesn’t it?) Mostly I have donated and given away, even sold a few. I was amazed at how many novelty fabrics I found: Parrots, Dahlias, Dogs, Cats, Cookies, Loaves of beautifully baked bread, Pomegranates, Bacon, Hydrengeas, Chickens, Horses and beautiful batiks in SO MANY colors. I have been ask if I would sell them ~ yes, if any of you know a FB page that I might be able to show them, let me know. These are just a few of the ones I have made, see what I mean about colors ~ In the evening I stitch, doing 2 new designs, one is for the 2018 Guild Seminar.

Here it is October already. Halloween is just 30 days away !
Celebrating that Fall is here this month Glory thread is on sale for $1.70 per skein ~ limited to stock on hand. Order soon for the best selection. In the comments you can give me second choices, just in case I am out of your first choices.
I have 2 new designs in the works, which is going slow since I am spending some time on making Christmas gifts. Some are BE, others are fabric sewing crafts. I am enjoying sewing again since my son fixed my sewing room where I have gotten it very organized and actually get to use my 53 year old Singer. The fabrics are another way I can play with colors. I need to get to the Dollar store to pick up a few small trays for cookies that I want to make to give neighbors and friends. Some friends are also getting colorful pot holders and grocery tote bags.
That is all my news..the main thing is the Glory thread on sale for only $1.70 per skein.
I want to thank you for your business and support over the years of Threads in Bloom. I would not be here without you.

Good morning – at least it still is in California ~
We haven’t had a SALE on thread for quite some time – so here it is.
I just marked all Iris thread to $1.70 per skein (regular at Threads in Bloom $1.85 – suggested retail by EdMar is $1.90)
At this price it is stock on hand. There are still some of the Threads in Bloom Stylus Pens available,
one free with any order over $20.00. What else is going on with Threads in Bloom – well today and the next few days, mostly trying to keep cool. It is suppose to hit 109º today and tomorrow. Good time to stay inside and stitch. Since my son, Karl, put up those nice shelves in my sewing room, everything has gotten very organized, I can get to my sewing machine ( it is 54 years old) and enjoy sewing again. I use to make all my clothes, but now that I am retired from going out in public work and don’t have to dress like that anymore; I am having lots of fun with fabric crafts. Actually gone back to square one ~ really. Making lots of fun fabric pot holders: garden food theme (tomatoes, potatoes, peas, mushrooms, green beans, lemons, oranges….), flowers, wine/grapes and batik fabric. Batik is my favorite – love the color combinations. I even have a cigar print to make for a friend. What am I doing with all of these – donating, giving to friends. Some say I should sell them.. will see.
Not to ignore my stitching I have 2 new designs in progress. One is for the 2018 BDEIG Seminar next year – this one is really fun. The other is a sampler, it is going slow because I keep changing my mind on what flowers to put where and colors.
A big shout out to all in the Houston area and so many thousand of people who responded to their needs.
Thank you all for your time, get those order in – OH, I forgot to mention, this SALE is from today, Sept. 1st through Sept. 30th. It is limited to stock on hand, so order early.
