Lazy Daisy # 2233 ~ It doesn’t matter what your favorite needle art is – you will know this stitch and can use floss or thread you have on hand. Two little Lazy Daisy flowers are stitched, simply, with lazy daisy stitches. The greenery is straight stitches with lazy daisy leaves; French knots fill the center – or use beads. This cute motif fits appropriately in the card stock book mark, mini or tiny cards. I used EdMar Ciré #409 and 114 for the flowers; Iris #215 with the purple flower and #48 for the soft yellow flower. The opening in the Mini card is a little larger than it is in the bookmark or tiny card – I put a border at the very edge, Stem stitch, using Iris #326.
Other threads that work are – cotton or silk floss; 4 strands for the petals, 3 strands for the petal tips, stem & leaves. There are many other floss and threads to experiment with – just have fun with this little motif.
No purchase necessary – put it in your shopping cart, and proceed to check out. Of course if you would like to request this design with your order of other necessities – it is perfectly fine.
