Good day ~ Time to bring you up to date on what is happening with Threads in Bloom ~
As many of you may already know, I have sold all of my EdMar thread. I am happy to say it all went to Mendie Cannon who has BE Stitched. You can find her website at BEstitched.biz I was so pleased when Mendie decided to make the purchase. I knew she would take care of all of my customers, many who have become friends. She will give everyone special care, just as I have for over 33 years.
So now, with out thread, what is going on… Well, I am still busy with Threads in Bloom. The e-store is still in business, just minus the thread. We still have fabric, needles, hoops, Thread organizers, EdMar and Threads in Bloom designs. Some of the designs are out of stock, since I have to have so many screen printed at a time, as they sell out, they will most likely not have a reprint. Here are some of the designs still in stock, but only for as long as they last. Some designs only have one left, other have more.
These are an example of what is available, plus several EdMar designs
I am offering a 25% discount to everything in your cart, including the already discounted EdMar designs. The coupon code is TNB25 be sure to apply this discount at checkout in the coupon box. Expires the end of June 2019.
So what else have I been doing with my extra time… I have always loved sewing, it has been set aside for a few years. I went through ALL of my old fabric, donating A LOT to Hospice, keeping some I felt I would still use. THEN, of course I started replenishing with new fabric for the kind of fabric craft I would be doing. This is a picture of one of the tote bags I made for a friend. She works with animals in San Diego and the Giraffe is her favorite. Besides a lot of totes of the Market bag size, I have made several small bags that are perfect to fill with other gifts inside, some had a kitchen towel or bathroom hand towel. They were either hand embroidered or embellished with fabric. I made lots of pot holders and coasters. Two other friends & I have made baby gifts; Isabelle knits or crochets an adorable baby jacket with hat. Liz does cute flannel baby blanket and I do a bib and burp cloth, using matching the fabric to the blanket, which matches with the color or the baby jacket.
Of course there is always my stitching, mostly Brazilian Embroidery small designs for cards, Needle Painting, surface embroidery. I am getting ready to go to the BDEIG Seminar in June. The last time I went was in 2015. This year I am not going to teach, but just have a really good, fun time, stitching, taking some classes and enjoying friends, new and old (and that can be taken either way)
Thank you for your time, I look forward to talking with you. Even if you do not need anything at this time, drop me a note, I love hearing from you.
